This story starts off with Ripto(albeit reluctantly)working alongside Gavin at his Pub/Bar/Tavern/whatever that place is supposed to be, shortly after Ripto apologized(back in Summer Forest)to the people of Avalar for not trying to properly explain why he behaved the way he did throughout the events of Spyro 2(yes, he also apologized to Zoey for almost feeding her to Gulp). He also finally revealed his past that explained why he took over and ruled Avalar with an iron fist. Thankfully everyone through Avalar understood WHY he did it now that he explained his trauma-induced past(they didn't condone how he handled coping with it, but decided to give him a chance, for redemption's sake). Meanwhile, Primrose(a close friend of Lana and Coral since childhood days)was giving the other Elder Dragons quite an earful about how they treated Gnasty Gnorc, and that that was why he kidnapped all dragons and turned them into stone statues.
